Unlike basic lessons, defensive driving teaches you to anticipate and avoid hazards caused by other drivers or adverse conditions (such as rain or heavy traffic).

Car For the Road Test

• Your learner's permit

• Pre-Licensing Course Certificate (MV-278)

• A credit or debit card to make the payment

The Road Test Appointment

• Meet all the requirements listed above

• Road Road test appointments $20

The 5 Hours Class

• Must have a New York State learner's permit with photo.

• Must have internet access and know how to connect to ZOOM™️.

• Your MV-278 Certificate will be mailed to the address on your learner's permit one day after completing your class.

• The student will need a passing grade from their class instructor.
